Illustrations for a section in Your Health magazine about estate planning and long-term care. To counterbalance the bland subject matter, I opted for a style that was poppy and colorful. The development of the articles and page count were in flux, so I chose to work in vector to maximize flexibility.
Wills
The article on wills covered a lot of ground and was pretty technical, but what people could relate to the most would be the scene that unfolds when a will is read. Very possibly, there are characters and colorful emotions like the adult-child in disbelief, the mourning gold-digger, the pensive uncle, etc.
Trusts
It comes down to process — how your assets would be handed, by whom, and through which channels or legal documents. I illustrated some common assets people put into trusts other than plain money.
